Log in at hifiler.com and choose Open HiFiler to reach your dashboard. The app navigation includes Home, Bank, Vault, Insurance, Subs and More.
Tap Bank. For a PDF scan, tick the AI consent checkbox, then choose Tap to browse. HiFiler can also import a supported bank CSV without AI, or let you add records manually.
Review the proposed records against your statement. Select a transaction, check its date, amount, direction and category, then use Previous or Next. Confirm and save only after checking everything.
Open Vault to upload a receipt or take a photo. Review purchase dates, warranty details and the item name. If original storage is enabled, you can choose to keep the original encrypted document.
Open Insurance and upload the policy PDF. A policy can include several insured sections. Check premiums, excesses and renewal dates against the original insurer document before saving.
For municipal bills and other bills, use Home → Add payment reminder or More → Bills & Payments and enter the amount and due date from your bill. For memberships, use Subs → Add subscription. To scan a subscription screenshot or PDF, open Home → Scan a subscription screenshot or tap Subs, give AI consent, upload a PDF or JPEG/PNG/WebP image (up to 4 MB), then check and correct the extracted details before saving. The current Smart Scan is for subscriptions; municipal bills can be tracked as reminders but are not currently supported by this subscription scanner. Turn on email reminders under More → Settings if desired.
Open Home → Accountant Pack. Choose a financial year, then tap Download spreadsheet or Download complete ZIP. Keep exported files private: downloads are not encrypted.
Under More, set your country, currency and date format. Use Help Centre for questions or WhatsApp for general support. Never send sensitive financial documents in a chat.
Open HiFiler in your phone’s browser, then follow the steps for your device below. This adds a convenient app icon so you can launch HiFiler directly. You may still need the internet for most features.
Can't find the option? Open HiFiler directly in Safari or Chrome, not inside a WhatsApp, Facebook or email in-app browser. The installed icon is a shortcut to HiFiler; most features still require an internet connection.
Always compare extracted information with the original document. Don't share bank details, passwords or private documents in WhatsApp. Keep downloaded spreadsheets and ZIPs securely stored.
